KINDZMARAULI

Our Kindzmarauli is a naturally semi-sweet Georgian red wine made from Saperavi, Georgia’s signature red grape and one of the world’s rare teinturier varieties. Unlike most red wine grapes, Saperavi has naturally red flesh as well as red skin, giving the wine its deep color and distinctive intensity.

To create Kindzmarauli’s signature sweetness, fermentation is slowed and stopped at the desired point by lowering the temperature, allowing some of the grape’s natural sugars to remain. No sugar or other sweetening ingredients are added.

Fresh aromas of crushed blackberries and prunes are beautifully layered with delicate floral notes. On the palate, the wine is silky and complex, with flavors of cherry, blackberry and prune balanced by a gentle tartness and a clean, lingering finish.

Smooth, elegant and naturally semi-sweet, it pairs beautifully with desserts, fresh fruit and soft cheeses.
